Service appointments
An appointment is built around the service, not just a free slot. You set its duration, who can deliver it, what the customer fills in, and what has to be prepared. Customers get a clear booking, and your team keeps control of how it runs.
| Part | What you set |
|---|---|
| Service | Name and duration, for example Design review, 60 minutes |
| Staff | Who has the skills to deliver it |
| Intake | What the customer provides first, such as a project brief |
| Preparation | Time or steps needed before it starts |
| Payment | For example a deposit requested at booking |
Resource booking
Rooms, equipment and specialists often decide whether a booking can happen. TimeSlotX treats them as part of the booking, not as an afterthought on a calendar. Each booking is matched to the resources it actually needs, and they are reserved together with the people.
Request: Design review — specialist + display equipment
Specialist ✓ Room Atlas ✓ Display equipment ✓
Outcome: Resources reserved · Appointment confirmedImportant
If any required resource is not free, the slot is not offered. A booking never ends up with a person but no room.
